Conditions

Tell us what is bothering you

Most people arrive with a concern rather than a treatment in mind. These are the ones we see most often, what each one actually is, and what we use for it.

How this works

Concern first,
machine second

A laser is not a diagnosis. Two people with what looks like the same brown patch can need two completely different plans, and one of them can be made worse by the treatment that helps the other.

So every plan here starts with a proper look at the skin, under magnification, by someone qualified to say what they are seeing. That consultation is free, and it is as likely to end in skincare and a review as it is in a course of treatment.

What we treat

Skin concerns,
seen properly

Each one links through to the treatments we use for it. If what is bothering you is not listed, it is still worth asking.

Thread Veins

Fine, visible blood vessels or broken capillaries that commonly appear on the face. We use light-based devices with specific wavelengths to selectively target the affected vessels while minimising impact on the surrounding skin.

Skin Tags

Small, benign skin growths that commonly develop where skin rubs against skin or clothing. They can usually be removed quickly and safely, but it’s important to have them assessed before treatment rather than picking or removing them yourself.

Genital Skin Tags & Warts

Benign lesions in an area people put off asking about. Assessed and removed discreetly, in a CQC-registered facility, by clinicians who see them every week.

Skin Tightening & Body Sculpting

Laxity in the skin and changes in body contour are two different things, and they often occur together. Skin can lose firmness as collagen and elastin decline, while stubborn pockets of fat and loss of muscle tone alter the shape underneath it. Because the causes differ, we assess both before recommending an approach, and treatment frequently combines tightening and contouring rather than relying on either alone.

Excess Hair

Unwanted hair on the face or body can vary significantly in colour, thickness and growth pattern. We use IPL and BBL light-based devices, using specific wavelengths to target the hair follicle effectively while taking your skin type and hair characteristics into account.

When it is not cosmetic

Some skin needs a
diagnosis, not a plan

A mole that has changed, a rash that will not settle, a lesion you are unsure about. None of that belongs on a treatment menu, and we will not put it on one.

London Real Skin sits inside the London Skin and Hair Clinic, and our Medical Director is on the GMC specialist register for dermatology. If what you bring us needs a dermatologist rather than a device, you are already in the right building.
