Seven platforms, chosen on the strength of the clinical evidence behind them rather than the marketing around them. Here is what each one is, and what it is honestly for.
Worth saying first
Clinics like to lead with hardware because hardware photographs well. It is the least interesting part of the decision. The same laser can help one patient and set another back, and nothing on this page changes that.
Which platform is used, at what setting, and how many times, is decided at consultation after your skin has been assessed properly. This page is here so you know what we own and why, not so you can pick one.
The platforms
01 / Sciton
A 1927nm fractional non-ablative laser. It works by treating a fraction of the skin at a time, which is what keeps the recovery short: bronzing and fine flaking for a few days rather than weeks indoors.

02 / Sciton
Broadband light, filtered to target either the red of a vessel or the brown of a pigment patch. Fast enough to cover the body as well as the face, which is why it is the workhorse of the room.

03 / BTL
Radiofrequency and high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy delivered at the same time, so the muscle contracts while the tissue above it is heated. Thirty minutes, lying down, four sessions in a typical course.

04 / BTL
Radiofrequency microneedling that measures the skin’s impedance as it goes and adjusts the energy to match, rather than running a fixed setting across a face that is not uniform.

05 / SkinXcell
A radiofrequency microneedling platform — a different treatment from mechanical microneedling — with three interchangeable handpieces, so the depth and the coverage change with the area being treated. The one we reach for on the neck and around the eye.

06 / Alma
A modular platform rather than a single laser: the console stays, the handpiece changes. That is what lets one appointment cover more than one thing when the assessment calls for it.

07 / Dermaroller
Mechanical microneedling, not radiofrequency. A motor retracts the needles on every cycle rather than a spring, which is what holds the depth steady from the first pass to the last. Made in Germany by Dermaroller GmbH.
